CHUM will always be the ultimate ROCK and ROLL station in the nation.
I started listening when I was 12 in 1961. Listening to CHUM was the spark that
got me into the radio business and then into television later. Everytime I drive by
1331 Yonge St.. I feel a loss that the original CHUM building is no more. In 1961 my
Dad took me to chum on a saturday afternoon. I got in and watched Bob McAdorey doing
his Saturday afternoon show. My Dad took a picture of him. Little Eva's Loco Motion was
playing and it was Number one that week. It was a day that changed my life... ohh the memories. d
